The Via Rhôna
The Via Rhôna: Running from north to south, from the Alpine landscapes to the Mediterranean beaches, the Via Rhôna is an 815km cycling route along the Vallée du Rhône that any kind of rider can enjoy, whether you’re with family, friends or your partner. It runs through Provence from Montélimar to Le Grau du Roi and Port Saint Louis, giving you countless regional and local connections to greenways and bike paths so you can soak up even more of the fascinating heritage and visitor sites that the Bienvenue en Provence network has to offer.
From Grau du Roi to Manosque
La Méditerranée à Vélo
La Méditerranée à Vélo, also known as The Mediterranean Route, runs from west to east and is the French section of EuroVelo 8, covering 7500km between Cádiz in Spain and Izmir in Turkey. It currently connects Spain and Italy along the Mediterranean coastal region in the South of France. Markings, trails, guide booklets and maps help you prep your itineraries and plan your holiday, city break or trek. The route cuts through Provence between Le Grau du Roi and Manosque, giving you the chance to visit the Bienvenue en Provence sites and attractions along the way. The Tarascon Cavaillon stage of La Méditerranée à Vélo is the natural gateway for a great escape exploring the traditional mountain villages in the Alpilles. If you want to follow in the tyre tracks of Jean Giono or love long-distance “grand tours”, the 241km Autour du Luberon à Vélo should be on your wishlist.
