Ardèche Valley : between art and nature

Go up the lower Ardèche Valley. Walk around the old town of Pont St Esprit and on its famous bridge; visit the original Sacred Art Museum in the superb House of the Knights (12th century). Then head to the medieval hillside village of Aiguèze and admire the exceptional view of Ardèche. Stop for lunch at the Bellevue restaurant in the charming village of St Martin d’Ardèche. Your route through the stunning gorges will then take you to the Saint-Marcel Cave: an underground river with immense concretions and the sublime Gours waterfall.
