Concert des Solidarités “Musique et Cinéma”

The “Musique et Cinéma” concert brings a mandolin player and a pianist together to perform famous film soundtracks, in the Salle du Tinel at La Chartreuse in Villeneuve-lez-Avignon.

Mandolin and piano for Indiana Jones, Harry Potter and Mission Impossible

On Thursday 19 November 2026 at 7 pm, the town of Villeneuve-lez-Avignon is launching a new musical event, the Concert des Solidarités. For this first edition, Vincent Beer-Demander on mandolin and Nicolas Mazmanian on piano pay tribute to the seventh art. Their programme blends contemporary compositions with famous themes from the world of film, from the epic Indiana Jones to the unforgettable Il était une fois dans l’Ouest, with detours via Harry Potter and Mission Impossible. The two musicians give these masterpieces a fresh reading, played with sensitivity and virtuosity.

A Ciné-Club follow-up with all proceeds going to the Téléthon

The concert follows on from the Ciné-Club evenings organised by the town and La Chartreuse. The town will donate all proceeds to the Téléthon, and the audience is encouraged to turn out in large numbers to support this worthwhile initiative.
