Screening of “Il était une fois… la Vie” by Albert Barillé (ages 6 and up)

At the Parc des Ateliers in Arles, LUMA Arles welcomes children and adults alike to a screening of “Il était une fois… la Vie”, the animated series by Albert Barillé. Suitable for ages 6 and up, the session is free to attend.

A journey inside the human body in two episodes

This cult series for the whole family takes viewers deep inside the human body to discover how it works and to tell its “fabulous story”. The screening is in French and brings together two episodes of 25 minutes each, halfway between animation and documentary. It is a French production from 1987.

The series was created and directed by Albert Barillé, with drawings by Jean Barbaud, color by Afroula Hadjiyannakis and set design by Claude Lambert.

One of the screenings in the LUMA Arles film programme

This session is part of a wider series. One weekend a month, from October 2026 to April 2027, LUMA Arles presents screenings followed by discussions at the Parc des Ateliers, always free of charge. Several sessions are designed with young audiences in mind, and this is one of them.
