Contact and information
The Musée de la Romanité in Nîmes offers a specialised visit for people with an intellectual disability, exploring daily life in Roman times through a selection of surprising objects.
The tour begins with down-to-earth questions. What was a strigil used for? Why did some rings double as keys? How did a fibula work? Each object tells its own story. Afterwards, participants shape their very own clay oil lamp.
The visit is open to anyone aged 8 and over. The person with an intellectual disability gets in free, as does one companion.
