Stargazing

An astronomy evening invites visitors to watch the winter sky from the Esplanade du Château des Baux in Les Baux-de-Provence, with telescopes and amateur astronomers on hand to help them find their way around the night sky.

Built on a hilltop, far from any light pollution, the village of Les Baux-de-Provence is an excellent spot for stargazing. Participants can use the telescopes provided, and amateur astronomers are there to guide them.

Winter is an especially good time to try it, since the sky is often clearer and crisper. Admission costs €10 for adults and €5 for children over 12, and places must be booked through the Tourist Office.
