Château de Montélimar: doctors and witches theme for the All Saints’ holidays

until 1 November · €4 to €6

  • From 17/10 to 01/11/2026: Daily: 10:00 – 18:00

Over the All Saints’ holidays, a visit to the Château de Montélimar takes on a doctors and witches theme, with objects and props placed along the whole route.

Medicine, magic, druids and witches are all brought to life through decorative touches that, once more, immerse visitors in the medieval imagination.

Throughout the rooms, the lower courtyard and the chapel, everyone can look around, explore, make things and play, whether with family or friends.

Château de Montélimar: La potion perdue

until 1 November

  • From 17/10 to 01/11/2026: Daily: 10:00 – 18:00

Families visiting the Château de Montélimar can take on a fun trail and help Rachel the healer track down the recipe for a potion that cures meanness.

In La potion perdue, one page of the grimoire has faded away: the very page that held the formula for a potion able to cure meanness. Rachel the healer is counting on children and grown-ups alike to help her get it back.

The trail is included in the château’s admission ticket (€6 full price, €4 reduced rate), and no booking is needed. It is designed for children aged 6 and over, who must be accompanied by an adult. Allow at least one hour before the château closes.

Château de Montélimar: little wizards’ walk

until 1 November · €4 to €8

  • From 17/10 to 01/11/2026: Daily: 10:30

The Château de Montélimar hosts the little wizards’ walk, a family outing showing, “without too much fright”, that witches were not always wicked.

Young and old children alike may come in costume if they wish. The walk lasts 45 minutes and is designed for families. A ticket also lets visitors explore the château at their own pace.

Booking is done on the website, and groups are capped at 25 people. Prices run from €4 to €8 and cover both the guided walk and a self-guided visit of the château.

Château de Montélimar: Ma sorcière mal aimée

until 1 November · €6 to €8

  • From 17/10 to 01/11/2026: Daily: 14:30

The « Ma sorcière mal aimée » visit at Château de Montélimar invites children and adults alike to meet the druids and witches of the Middle Ages.

On this guided family visit, everyone makes their own protective amulets, inspired by medieval talismans.

The visit lasts 45 minutes and is designed for families with children aged 7 and over. Tickets cost €6 to €8 and include both the guided visit and free access to explore the castle at your own pace. Booking through the website is recommended, since each group is limited to 25 people.
