Halloween Saturday at the cave

On Halloween Saturday, the Grotte de la Salamandre in Méjannes-le-Clap serves a witch’s soup at noon and hosts a treasure hunt full of riddles, for young and old alike.

The witch’s soup is served at 12 noon, made from “an old recipe taken from a dusty grimoire”. Each guest can go with their bowl of soup with food and antidotes, whether they bring them along or buy them on site.

All day long, the wicked treasure hunt takes place on the terrace and around the cave. Plenty of hiding places hold the answers to riddles that suit children and adults equally. The activity is free, but booking is compulsory. It runs from 11 am to 4 pm, with a new start every half hour and a limit of 12 children.
