During the All Saints’ holidays, the Château de Suze-la-Rousse hosts an immersive investigation in which participants pursue the trail of a strange prophecy tied to Nostradamus.
On 21 September 1564, King Charles IX stopped at the château with his mother, Catherine de’ Medici, and the entire court. They were received by François de la Baume, lord of the manor. Nostradamus, who was staying in the region at the time, came along as well. Struck by the atmosphere of the place, he uttered a dark and enigmatic prediction about the château’s future.
To learn what the prophecy said, participants take on the role of historians and explore the second floor of the château, room by room. They must gather every clue to solve the mystery, then check whether the prediction has already come true. Prices range from €2 to €10, and booking in advance is required on +33 4 75 04 81 44.
