Brigands du Mont Paon in Les Baux-de-Provence

The Knights of Les Baux and the troubadours take over the castle at Les Baux-de-Provence and the village for a day of medieval parades and activities.

The knights turn out in their finest costumes. Together with the troubadours, they stage parades and bring the Middle Ages to life from morning till night, both inside the castle and along the village streets.

Family activities at the castle with the Brigands du Mont Paon

Up at the castle, the Brigands du Mont Paon invite visitors to a programme of playful activities, ideal for the whole family:

• a medieval herbalism workshop, with a few tastings of “medieval” wine
• a calligraphy and illumination workshop
• coin striking at the forge, at 10:30 am and 2 pm
• a demonstration built around a war machine, at 11:30 am and 3 pm
• knights to meet in front of the huts
• a costumed stroll through the village streets
• a stage show at 4 pm exploring expressions from the Middle Ages
