In the Quiqueran garden of the Château des Baux-de-Provence, an exhibition of bronze sculptures by Philippe Chazot presents female figures that combine strength with lightness.
Female figures in bronze, between strength and lightness
Pared back and almost airy, these women’s silhouettes allow the artist to probe the mystery, sensuality and spirituality of the body. With everything unnecessary removed, the sculptures seem to climb into the space around them. Visitors are offered a “sensory encounter”, in which inner strength meets the poetry of form.
